Relationship Anxiety & OCD Support Group

Meeting virtually on 8 Mondays at 5-6pm in May & June, starting May 4, 2026

A therapeutic support group to explore and shift anxious and obsessive patterns in relationships.

WHO IS THIS FOR? This group is both for MA-based participants who have been formally diagnosed with OCD, as well as anyone curious about relational OCD tendencies within themselves. Participants often find themselves caught in a cycle of intrusive doubts, heightened anxiety, and automatic or compulsive behaviors within their relationships (including romantic connections, friendships, family members, work colleagues, etc.).

WEEKLY CONTENT: Alex will incorporate a thoughtful blend of psychoeducation, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to interrupt the snowball effect of relationship anxiety and compulsive actions. The group offers a supportive, welcoming space to connect with others who truly understand these shared experiences.

COST: The group is $45/session, and we have sliding scale slots available. Superbills available for insurance reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits for group therapy.

DATES & TIMES: The group will run for 8 weeks, meeting on Mondays in May and June from 5-6pm. No class Memorial Day.

If you are interested in joining, fill out inquiry form and Authentic Self Therapy Collective practice owner Emily Powell will follow up for next steps!
